If I were with a $25 base plan what is considered local calling? Is it defined by the location I'm at and calling to or by my phone number?

Local calling is defined by location according to the koodo FAQ. So if you're in vancouver and you call someone in vancouver, that's a local call. Or if you go on a trip to toronto and call someone in toronto that is also a local call. I would post the FAQ link but it doesn't seem to be working right now. 😞 EDIT: it works now! Ahh, thanks so much! Also glad to know the FAQ is working again. Cheers!

To add to what Daniel says, if you receive any calls when you are outside your local calling area, you will pay long-distance charges. Here is the FAQ link for prepaid service: http://help.koodomobile.com/prepaid/boosters/when-will-I-be-charged-for-long-distance
