Voting on ideas is a bit one sided where if I like it, i click on +1, if I don't, I ignore it. By having 2 options to place a vote of 'yes I like it' or 'no I don't' will give a good view how many community participants are for it or not with a clearer view of popularity. Is that the intent of the current structure to just capture those that say 'yes it's a good idea'??

I think the 'yes' always captures popularity by itself. Including 'no I don't ala YouTube may not yiled a simple answer. 10 likes 5 don't likes would mean what? Net 5 likes?

The 5 don't likes is a voiced opinion, just like the 10 likes is a voiced opinion. All it's going to tell you is how many like it how many don't.

Something like this isn't up to Koodo, but rather Get Satisfaction. Feel free to make this suggestion on their community page.

Attn Koodo - you're going to need to close this off as unplanned. Get Satsifaction has a 6 year thread on this and 3 yrs ago official response was "While this is a good idea, it has been some time and it is not yet a planned feature. I am updating the status to reflect this and we will be sure to keep this thread up to date as our plans change" and 2 years ago "this is still not a planned feature. It does not fit in well with our product philosophy. Our model is similar to that of Facebook in this regard, not Uservoice. People can always show their disagreement by posting a comment to that effect." God bless facebook 🙂
