I need to remove the password request in my voice mail

I did not activate the password for my voice mail I can not get into my mail because I am asked to put in my password. It was never set up. This is weird. How do I remove this obstacle? I'm sure there is an easy solution

If it was never set up it could be your 10 digit cell number.
