I have a Moto g phone. Is there a way to use a downloaded ringtone instead of the ones that come with the phone?

settings>sound>phone ringtone>select ringtone If the ringtone you downloaded is not showing up in the list of ringtones, let me know. 🙂

If it doesn't show up in there it's probably because any saved ring tones, notification sounds, etc. Need to be put in the correct destination folder for them to show up in the menu. If you get an app like Zedge, it will automatically place the files in the correct place based on which category you're in when you're picking sounds.

Here's a simple vid on this if you want to use any mp3 files or other compatible audio files on your computer, on your moto g as a ringtone. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-shUnOFYrQ

If the ring to me you downloaded isn't showing up in the ring tone area of your settings then first try rebooting the phone (hold power and turn it off then back on) If it still doesn't show then download a file management app from the Playstore, I highly recommend an app called "PowerGrasp" it's free to download and is easy to use if your use to moving files on a PC. Here's the link to PowerGrasp:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.malcolmsoft.powergrasp
