I can't receive or send any text message. But I can receive and do phone calls (I bought 500 Anytime Minutes for 25$). I just (today) port my number to Koodo from another carrier (Bell). I activated my Koodo prepaid phone with a Koodo rep. He told me about a thing : Koodo will contact my mother to have her authorization for something (I think it's because I was a minor when I had my last, and first, cellphone). Do I have to wait until they call my mother, and then I will be able to send and receive text messages? If so, why can I make phone calls if they didn't ask for her authorization yet?
