I have 200 min plan and last month I went over it, hence my bill was higher than normal. I want to keep track of the minutes I have spent during the bill cycle. Is there a way to get an alert similar to the data alerts (50%. 75% 100% usage) but for voice?

No. There is no warning system through service provider. So you need to check your usage through self serve.
But, they have an Unlimited minutes add-on for $2/mo. Just text MOREMIN to 7780 and follow their instructions. This add on might help prevent future minutes overage.
