How to connect ZTE flip phone for data


I purchased an ZTE Z222 flip phone and unlocked the it with code obtained from the carrier (AT&T). I inserted my Koodo SIM and the phone is working fine except that I can't connect to data. The phones operating system is proprietary. Can anybody tell me how to connect this phone for data on Koodo?

Hey Gerry! I'm going to assume that you have a data plan/add-on. Do you see the LTE or 4G or 3G or H+ logo next to the signal bars on top? (Could be any one of them.) I would pull the battery and the SIM Card and replace them first to see if that does anything. If after this you still have trouble with the data give Customer Service a call. You'll want to talk to tech support, they'll be able to further diagnose your issue. Hope this help!
