How do you cancel a phone ?

How the hell do you cancel a phone ( I have 3 and one isn't being used ) ? Last time I had to SPEAK to an Advisor and even then it was only put on seasonal hold. They will not let me cancel it !? Thanks

Unfortunately, the only way to cancel is to call in and speak to a representative. Be polite but insist that you want to cancel the line.

You need to call into Koodo to cancel. Dont let them talk you into a seasonal hold. If you want to cancel then they have to let you cancel

Phoned. Having typed in the phone No as requeted , they asked for it again ! Next Customer Service ( once they enquired why I was cancelling ) said they had to transfer me to a " Cancellation Team " who enquired again, why I was cancelling. It feels as though they are trained to deflect and keep you on the line for quite a time while hoping to keep you as a customer. Very disappointed with their tactics. Have to say though that the last guy who sorted it all out for me was helpful and quick when he took over. Finally got rid of it .... with the Tab balance and the phone call charge ( what's that all about ? ) it will cost me near on $100 to get rid of it . Thanks to all for your advice M

Phone call charge.... maybe that's overage? There should be no fee for calling in or to cancel since you cant cancel on self serve

Ugh, yet another reason why I'll always be on prepaid. All I have to do is stop paying 😃

The tab balance is what you still owe on the phone. The phone call charge? Not sure since you can't cancel through selfserve.
I may have misunderstood the charges shown on the site - I await the next bill or go look now if it is showing what my new balance is. Thanks again M
