How about Koodo leaving a message or account number when they call.

A lot of times when Koodo calls, they don't elaborate on why they are calling. Frustrated customers call Koodo to find out what is wrong. When a representative opens an account only to find no notes left on the account, this can cause the customer to become even more upset. Koodo should either leave a reference number or some sort of message who the call was for.

I completely agree with this as we have seen a few angry ppl leave complains on here & FB about this, & I'm sure there are many more that don't come to either place to complain that are also angered by this situation.

Here's probably the reason IMHO. They cant be sure who is going to be listening to the message and since they are only able legally to discuss the account with the account holder after veifying your identity telling a machine information about the account would defeat your privacy.

Ya but they should leave a reference # & then when you call you have to give the reference # & a verification pin or Answer, then there is no privacy issue

Absolutely. If there was a random ticket number then the client calls in and gets verified. It's done with outstanding accounts, why not when koodo places a call and has to leave a message or is unable to reach a client.
