Solved

Hi, I got a Meizu MX4 Pro. Calls, SMS and internet (3G) work perfectly, but I cannot send or receive MMS.

I fixed the issue with a factory restore.

Mobile data must be ON. Wifi not sufficient. When you did the factory restore, mobile data was automatically enabled. Have you turned it off in the meantime? Hope the fix is this easy...
Data is on, it has not been turned off. After the factory restore, I reloaded my backup then send myself an mms and it worked. I tried about 15 min later to send another to someone else and ever since, they don't work.
I also validated APN settings and they concord with the ones on koodo's web site.

Hey Jonathan, this great guide from Ivan (http://koo.do/unlockedphone) should help. Have you tried sending an MMS to your own number to see if it works? Keep us posted! ******************************************** If you see a good answer, give it a star.

Hi, Yes I tried to send MMS to myself and it doesn't work either. I validated and created the 2 simultaneous APN configs as stated in your link, then rebooting the phone without success yet.

Try the SignalGuard app (last post below) and see if it helps http://community.koodomobile.com/koodo/topics/note-2-phone-calls-wont-go-through-right-to-voicemail

Hi, I installed the app. It mentioned normal connection to the network all around and after a couple MMS attempts, there is no error in the log (the log is empty)...

Hello Jonathan,

If you already tried all these options, maybe our techs can help you further. Just give them a call at toll-free 1-866-955-6636 (option 6) from another line.

Many thanks!
I've also contacted Meizu and they pointed out that I may not have the international firmware for my phone and recommended that I reinstall the whole firmware with this one. With the tests I've done, I'm pretty sure the build I have indeed has issues, so I'll reinstall and go from there. Also, since MMS worked for a short amount of time after the factory restore, I'm now convinced that the issue is not in APN configuration or network related. I'll continue my debugging with Meizu directly if required after the reinstall. Thank to you all for your time and insight.
