Give Prepaid customers credit when move to monthly plans

I recently became a monthly plan customer with my existing koodo phone that was pay as you go. My account says I have only been a customer since August when in reality I have been a customer for over a year now. There should be some way to get credit for keeping up with pay as you go services when you change over to monthly.

I agree. I think someone else posted this idea not too long ago too. For example, Virgin will utilize any remaining prepaid balance as a bill credit if you switch over from their prepaid to monthly. It would be nice if Koodo could do this too.

Agreed, and it so happens it was posted very recently as a suggestion 🙂 Please add your vote here: http://community.koodomobile.com/koodo/topics/migrating_from_prepaid_to_monthly_plans

Let's make this happen 🙂

Guys it looks like she wants her tenure credited not money (although that's good too). While I'm sure it's possible to fix with some programming, what that's really saying is how long your accounts been open, when you switch from pre to post you end up on a different account and that's why it's not giving your credit for your previous tenure.

Dont see the point since theres no benefits for how long youve been a customer at all. Its to no benefit to change this or worry about it if there is no benefit from it...... Is there, am I missing something here?

I don't think there's any benefit other than leverage for retentions... which Koodo doesn't have/offer anyway.

But you are quite right, rereading the suggestion that is exactly what was asked... was there a reason for your particular request, Deb?
