I called Koodo today, but i didn't remember my PIN so they asked me couple of security questions: DOB, Drivers licence number and email address. I'm just wondering is that normal? Do they ask those questions in case you forgot your PIN?

Yes, it's normal. How else would you propose that they verify your identity without your pin number? It's not as if they can check your photo ID over the phone,
