El Tabador Phone Cases

The title is pretty self-explanatory. There has been a number of people asking for El Tabador merch, so why not cell phone cases? Not really anywhere near priority #1 for ideas, but could be fun and profitable nonetheless.

In my experience, Koodo does not seem interested in providing additional accessories. Not sure why.

I'm not either. It's definitely not something that will ever chase me away from Koodo (I'm here only for cellular service and value for said service- period - not handset or accessory selection). But I haven't understood Koodo's shying away from selling accessories. 1. Accessories are a high-margin product. 2. Accessories typically take up less shelf space than phones. 3. If retail space is a concern, Koodo doesn't have to sell them in store. I'm sure that selling online and through retail partners can be profitable.

There's been such an outcry for the Eltabador statue, Koodo would make a large amount of profit if they sold just those.

I doubt they would make a lot of money. At least not not on something like this. Most of these things are can be done today if one really wants it. Especially cellphone cases. JUst my 2 cents. If you have $35 this awesome Canadian company will make you a case of your like. 🙂 http://www.gelaskins.com/create/new/iphone-5-hardcase

You're welcome Chris.

I don't think they'd have to make a lot of money for it to be successful, and there would have to be ways to get it done cheaply. My local WHL team introduced iPhone cases this year for $8 which seems crazily cheap for something with a licensed logo on it. Granted I don't think they could do this with every phone they carry, but at least the iPhones, S4 and maybe one or two other devices I don't see why not especially if they could price them in the $10-$15 range while still turning a profit.

Yeah, I wasn't suggesting cases across the lineup. And if I can get cases on Ebay from China for $1/unit when I buy 10, I'm sure Koodo can find a vendor that would make the cases for a price good enough to make a significant profit (assuming that they'd retail for $15-20).

I would definitely buy one as long as the design was right (nothing too cheesy)
