Do I need to go to a service outlet to upgrade my phone while keeping the same plan or can I do it online?


I have a Samsung Galaxy phone with Koodo Mobile. I've paid off the entire tab and want to upgrade to the Moto G phone. Do I need to go to a retail outlet, or can I purchase the Moto G online and continue to use the same old plan which is no longer offered?

You definitely don't have to change your plan, Kara. That much I know for a fact! You can order the Moto G but I believe you have to be logged into your account, then all you have to do is check out the phone and leave your plan the way it is. I'm not on postpaid myself so if I didn't describe the process entirely right, somebody please correct me 🙂

Sophia is correct. Just buy the phone online and then you get it just pop the sim into the new phone and no plan changes are required

But I want to add it on tab s. I don't want to pay the cost of the phone. Is this still possible?

Very possible. As long as you use Tab Small you don't have to change your plan 🙂
In response to both, I want to add the phone to Tab S. Is this still possible while ordering the new phone with no plan?

Yes it should be. Just login to your account and your tab info will populate if you have positive tab. Then you can use your tab small to get the phone. No plan should be required. Let us know if you run into any issues
