Deleted questions>?

Do questions on here get deleted? I'm looking for a question I asked a while ago. It said "For the tech savy people" I have searched my own profile and more then 60 pages can't find It!

Hi ness, Normally, questions don't get deleted, unless somebody accidentally posts personal information (such as phone number or email address). Sometimes someone can decide to delete their own message though... The forum is completely transparent and you can always see who deleted what (and why) here: http://community.koodomobile.com/koodo/changes 🙂

Oh there is another possibility that a Koodo employee decided to give your question a more suitable subject - such as "for the tech savy people" might have been changed into "how can I........... (whatever your topic was)"

Well that's great! Thanks for your help I checked your link but there is no search option for it so it would take me hours to go through it.

I think questions do get deleted. And rightfully so. You can see the total number of questions here drop fairly dramatically after a "clean up". I don't know when or how often they do it but it makes sense. I have to beleive that that the ratio of posting is something like 1:100. Meaning only 1 out 100 actually post a question the rest finds the answer in previous posts. In order for that to work well wouldn't they cut questions that are one offs and no one ever will ask again for a hundred years? Or questions that have been asked before. There is no point having the same question seen multiple times.

I understand if it was a question that was regularly asked but it wasn't.

Can't understand that one either as I contributed to the post as well. Scoured my dashboard entries, even did a topic search, nothing.

Why would they keep one off questions public? Especially if it was already answered? I don't actually think they do enough archiving as is. Here is an example, I searched for something that seems to pop up frequently. "Untegistered SIM". Over 30 returns of threads with a variety responses. One would have to scour through a lot. Wouldn't it be better if there were only 2-3 threads kept with the correct answer?
