data problem


i just got a new phone and data was enabled. I don't have a plan that includes any data and now I owe 15 dollars. I did not know data was on because I was using wifi. I kind of want my money back.

You would have to call in to Koodo and maybe they would be willing credit you back due to the fact it was a new phone. It would however be at their discretion

Even if you don't have a data plan, you will be charged in pay per use data. Go to settings>network>mobile network>turn your data off. Or you can call koodo to request "data block". But if you block data, you won't be able to send or receive picture/video messages.
