DATA IS NOT WORKING , HELP !!


HI there my nexus 4 broke and i recently bought a new phone unlocked everything is great and works fine except it does not let me use my data, it says its on but when i try to go online when i dont have wifi it says i am offline. below is the link to the site and phone i bought. can you tell me whats wrong or how to trouble shoot it ? thanks http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA5K01R96862&cm_re=riv-_-9SIA5K01R96862-_-Product

Sounds like you need APN settings. Go to Settings and then mobile network or data usage, I'm not sure what it's called in your device. Then go to APN and put this info in: Name: KOODO APN: sp.koodo.com Proxy: 74.49.0.18 Port: 80 Username: leave blank Password: leave blank Server: leave blank MMSC: http ://aliasredirect.net/proxy/koodo/mmsc MMS Proxy server: 74.49.0.18 MMS Port: 80 MCC: 302 MNC: 220 Authentication type: No set APN type: No set Tap menu key, then tap Save. Make sure the radio button is selected to activate data. The frequencies are compatible so it should work.
