I have a 10 gig plan but after I used 5 gigs my data turned off. Anyone know why? I got a new phone a few weeks back. But even before I upgrade I had a 10 gig plan.

Did you change the plan? Data gets prorated so if you changed in the midst of your billing cycle, you would only get 50% of the data until the cycle resets.

What does your self service say?

Self serve says I get 10 gigs a month. Is there anything I can do to make it work properly or do I have to call in?

It will follow the normal pattern right after your cycle resets, nothing you need to do. 

Except I want my data to turn back on.

There are various ways to purchase extra data, check self serve for your options. Sorry I'm not using postpaid myself so I can't really help you in how to get more data... I'm sure others will know though so I'm hoping someone will chime in here ☺️
