Crtc plans to ban unlock fees as of Dec 1 2017. How does Koodo plan to manage this?

Likely by no longer charging the current fee when people request a phone to be unlocked once December 1 arrives. No magic here.

Phones purchased after that date will come unlocked as well.

Until their inventory of locked phones is gone, they may also just include the unlock code at purchase.

Thanks, I figured that, but phone companies can have a mind of their own from time to time.

Probably by making you spend half of your day waiting on hold for a rep.

I guess that depends on one's (im)patience!

10-25 minute wait isn't too bad

All depends on the time of day and how many will be calling in. Initially.

The vast majority of things one needs can be done online. Easy peasy, lemon squeeze. No wait. Phoning for things seems something we used to do in the eighties. :-)
