CHANGING TO SAMSUNG S8 PHONE

My wife has a Samsung S5 phone, and I would like to give her my S8 phone.

The sim card in the S5 does not seem to fit the sim card slot on the S8.

(image below). Is a new SIM card required?

The Samsung S5 used the microSIM size while the S8 used nanoSIM. I would suggest you check if you could punch out the MicroSIM into NanoSIM. If you couldn’t, then you would need a new SIM. you could get it from the store or online (Make sure you choose the correct prepaid or postpaid SIM). After that you could switch SIM in self-serve.

If you are switching SIM, you could follow this https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/koodo-sim-support
