Cannot make a call. why Lost and found phone restored with koodo

I'm assuming you have lost the phone, reported it as lost, than found it again?
Yes reported it to Koodoo, and followed their instruction to remove SIM card, wait a while and replace it.  Can access internet, but phone calls are blocked.... Message is 'emergency calls only', what gives.

I love the term "what gives" I mean does anyone really know what that means?

Anyways,
have you called Koodo to unsuspend your service?

Cosimo,

If you never reported the phone as "found" after reporting it lost/stolen, the phone will be blacklisted within north america, you will need to report it as found either on selfserve or by calling in.

You may need to simply reconnect to the network. Jump into settings -> find mobile networks -> search for networks -> select Koodo. 
Now the phone can either be reported as lost/stolen in Koodo's database or the Canadian database. I suggest using this website to check the status of the device

Best solution for satisfaction is to call Koodo.
