cancelling one of two lines

I have been a long time Koodo customer with the same phone number and various different phones. A couple years ago I added a new line on to my account with a new number for my wife. I might have a new job coming up that requires me to get a new company phone and  plan, and they want to just port my current number over.

If I cancel my current Koodo Line and plan, will that have any effect on my wife's line and plan?

If you take your line off the account any remaining tab balance and tab bonus associated with your number (if applicable) will be charged to the bill along with a prorated amount for your plan for the days used that month.

Your wife's plan and phone number will continue as normal.
