Cancelling my koodo phone contract?


Hi, I was wondering what the steps are to cancel my phone (nexus 4) with koodo, but I have two-three months left on my 2 year contract. I want to have a plan with fido which has a promotion right now with "bring your own phone" and cancel with koodo. Would there be a charge of cancelling my contract? I have like 25$ on my tab balance left, so what would the steps be and charges? thanks

You have to call in to cancel. Whatever is left on your tab will be charged to your bill, and any usage as well as your rate plan because they all bill in advance.
Please feel free to share this Koodo direct email address with others who may be having problems with this particular cell phone service provider. They are being inundated with calls lately, due to many customer service complaints and billing & service issues. Current wait times to call them is a minimum of 40 minutes. It sometimes takes several days to get a response from their "Self-Serve" online messages. toplevelservice@koodomobile.com

Wait times are usually 40min around this time. As well we would ask you dont revive old threads as you revive old information and send emails to everyone who is following this thread.

Are you a postpaid or prepaid customer?
If you are a postpaid (monthly) customer, you would need to contact Koodo directly to cancel it (call 611 or send message to their facebook). They won't cancel your plan by email.
