Keep in mind the sooner you pay it, the more money you’ll need to give them if you had a activation credit. So there’s no real incentive of paying it before the time in my opinion.
No unfortunately that’s not an option.
You will need to save that money in the bank and then when you are ready to pay it all off, to pay it as a lump sum

That is only if you are canceling or upgrading on another tab. If you are not leaving or getting another phone, you dont need to worry about the phone credit
