Question

can i add my wife name to my bill

Userlevel 2
Hello, I got married my wife in India and for immigration purpose, I want to add her name to my bill while she is in India (I live in Canada). Is there any way her name can reflect in my bill as an added person with my name? It does not matter to me if I have to go Prepay or Postpay, and my TAB is already paid.

hi ABH,
I think for the billing purpose, there is only one person (the account owner) in the bill.

For postpaid, you could add another name on your account (role management to allow other people to make changes). I didn't see the option in selfserve, so you might have to contact Koodo directly to ask, if you would like.

OK will try to call them thanks. You could call, but as I mentioned the bill would only have one name and might not work for your purpose.

OK will try to call them thanks. The first thing is why you want to do this and how it would help you? Im guessing that you want her name on the bill to help you with immigration some how even though she wont have anything to do with the bill. Yes call them but it sounds to me like you wont be able to get her name on the bill.

OK will try to call them thanks. It's definitely not a current business practice in Canada to add a spouse's name on any account, except in the case of joint banking where both parties have the same privileges and liabilities and apply at the same time.

Every province has distinct laws governing joint and separate property so you can't just throw another hat into the ring whenever it suits and offer that as proof of anything.

The easiest way is to put her name as the "Subscriber" while your name remain as "Account Holder". My 3 Koodo lines are on "my account" but the "subscribers name" are those of my 3 [i]devilish kids.

The easiest way is to put her name as the "Subscriber" while your name remain as "Account Holder"...If its possible you would log in to self serve and click on my profile. Then next to role management click on manage.

The easiest way is to put her name as the "Subscriber" while your name remain as "Account Holder"...To get to that page you clicked on manage so you're in the right place if it is possible to add her name. I don't think it is. You can call Koodo to see if it's possible.

If you add another line onto your account you can use your wife's name as a user on the account. Calling *611 for this concern if this does not work out would be the most efficient way to deal with the matter.
