I would really like to see an improvement in the quality of the Koodo Mobile app. After seeing an app from one of the larger competitors, it left me hoping Koodo could improve theirs. Given the lower cost of the monthly plans, some things have to be sacrificed, but the creation of a more fluid and interactive app seems plausible. I would like to see a more frequently updated data usage section and the ability to add or change elements of plans on the app. Also, more visual representations of usage in charts or graphs would be nice and the ability to track those over months to see our usage and pick plans accordingly. I would like to be able to see 6 months worth of bills and usage. As well, the way that voice minutes are tracked in a descending manner counting down from 99999, is frustrating at best.
As well, the ads that around on the app really make it unappealing to use and don't instill confidence in the confidentiality of the app. I think Koodo has done an awesome job with their marketing and identity creation of being a forward looking and thinking brand, but to me the app looks haphazard and just thrown together like a free wallpaper app or something. The Koodo site is excellent, efficient, and distinct and I think the app could look that way too.
