Anybody had this issue before?


I purchased a refurbished Samsung Galaxy s4 on April 21st and yesterday at work my phone slipped from my hand as I went to put it into my pocket and hit the soft carpet floor on its back (this is the first time i have dropped it and I do have a small rubber case on it) and the lcd screen inside cracked and now I cannot see the entire screen. The phone has 0 external damage on it from the fall, and this isn't my first s4. I dropped my other one hundreds of times without a case on it and it held strong. Is there anything Koodo can do or has done for anybody with this issue?

You can bring it to your local Koodo kiosk and the will send it away and the techs will determine if it was a manufacturer defect or if it was indeed caused by physical damage. They will contact you with an estimate for repairs if it is deemed to be physical damage or if it's a defect they will send it back to you repaired, that's about all you can do.
I went to Koodo and was told about how they can internally bleed causing pressure inside the phone but when I asked about repairs told me it wasn't covered under the warranty and I'd have to go and get it repaired there was nothing they could do for me.. I got this phone a week ago how is there nothing that can be done?
