Can I add Koodo Phone Protection after the Manufacturer warranty Runs out?

Here’s an excerpt from Koodo’s Phone Protection Plan page.
“You can purchase a Koodo Protection Plan from any Koodo Store within 60 days of purchasing your phone. If you purchased your phone more than 60 days ago you will no longer be eligible for the Koodo Protection Plan”.
You need to add it at the same time as you purchase the phone or not long after!
