Account takeover and porting out
I want to port my number out to a different carrier, and my friend wants to take over my account/plan with their phone number (port in). Is this possible?
You can have one or the other but not both.
In order to port the other carrier will have to cancel your account and plan. Also your friend can take over your account and then port Their own number in if from another carrier. But then it will lose your number

When you port the number out, your Koodo account will be cancelled. You may be able to get it re-activated with another number and then transfer it to your friend. Just call customer service and ask them if they would do it. It can be done but you'll need to find the right person to do it, which is not easy.
