Hi George, thank you for your feedback. You make a great point, we have many customers in their 30's and 40's and our communication needs to reflect that. We don't want to lose you, and I will take this back to our team to discuss further.

Is "our bad" offensive in some way?

No. What is happening is likely that OP is acting like those people who bring their own glassware to parties because styrofoam cups ain't good enough for them...

Lol I have seen many ways in which people decide to be insulted but never because they were not treated as a senior :p

My private pet peeve is "Hey" but if I had to leave every service who addressed me as such I'd probably need to get off the internet altogether!

Would you have preferred:
A ghastly misfortune uponeth boy ge'rge. 'twas a gyit. nothing to worryeth about, nothing hath chang'd into thy apprasil. s'rry f'r thy anguish. thou shouldst be getting byrne to bett'r explaineth lief

Well you wouldn't like virgin mobile because they use the same wordings.. they makes you feel like you're not being handled by a computer or a generic response. I find koodo the same way and I prefer to get a hey or our bad then a generic answer such as dear customer. To leave any company because of a comment like that is very immature.
