Hi, My cell phone screen keeps displaying telus as though they are my network provider but I am a koodo customer and have never had this phone registered with telus. I can receive calls and texts but cannot send or call from my phone - it says the network is unavailable. What is going on?

Koodo is a part of the Telus network. It's ok. My cell shows Telus often too. :)

How is your signal strength?

The signal has 2 bars, sometimes 3. I can receive calls and texts but cannot send texts or make calls. I didn't realize koodo was part of the telus network. My phone normally displays koodo.

Did you just port your number from a different provider?

Is your phone unlocked? I had this happen to me a few times when I was using n unlocked iPhone (one that as unlocked by Telus, not sold unlocked by Apple).
