Would love to have the option to block premium messages! :D

Got burned with these things in the past as they charge a LOT and they are not included in standard unlimited texting.

The ability to somehow block only premium text messages would ensure no unexpected and huge charges on a bill.

Prium messages are not Koodo related services, they third parties companies that offer different services to cx by sending them offers, through SMS to their phones, adds on TV, subscriptions through Internet, Koodo cx receives PIN codes to complete their subscriptions or just reply to their SMS without taking time to read licence agreement. to block those primum SMS just reply to shortcode with STOP and they are bound by law to stop sending you those messages and billing you.

While that is true Mat, at the same time posting semi or unrelated information just clutters up the responses which can hinder people finding the information they are actually looking for.

I'm reading some of your posts and half the time you seem to be going on about stuff unrelated to the question. This post is no different. Roberta didn't ask what premium messages were. She seems to be painfully aware. She put out a wish that she could simply block access to these things. I don't know if you are simply hunting for points but I hope the koodo folks monitoring this forum are taking notes.

I agree, though unfortunately I don't think it's doable unless Koodo blocks all 4 & 5 digit #'s but some can be useful so that'd cause other problems.
