As long as it is unlocked, it should work.

HSPA 850/1900 MHZ frequency are what Koodo uses. Since I noticed one of the bands is 850, I see no reason why not.

Koodo APN settings would need to be entered in the phone for the data to work. Assuming you do activate that phone with Koodo, make sure you get those settings during activation.

Those are LTE bands for data. UMTS 850/1900 are needed for voice and 3G data.

I've written a guide to bringing unlocked devices to Koodo. It can be found here:

Jason, you need to look at the UMTS bands (also called WCDMA or HSPA).

Tyler is right. Just let me add something importat.
You can enter your smartphone IMEI here http://koodomobile.com/en/on/phonecom...

Koodo has it all figure it out. This will check if that phone is really compatible.
But I am %100 sure it will work. YAY

Just keep in mind, the above link is not 100%. There is still a chance the network won't accept the phone.

Put in an active Koodo sim card and see if it connects.

According to Samsung, this has the correct 3G bands (850/1900) and should work with Koodo.
