A friend sent me a picture that I received info in a text, but can't see the picture. I don't have a data plan. Is there a possible way to use wifi when at home to see the image?

Data needs to be enabled regardless if wifi is on or not.

If you want to see the picture but avoid accidental data charges, you have to enable your data while being connected to wifi. Then your friend needs to resend the photo and you'll be able to see it. Once done, turn off your data again.

You don't need a plan but you do need to have data turned on. But when you do that. Other apps may try to use data. To avoid this. Be sure you are connected to wifi before turning the data on.

In some cases your data may be blocked by Koodo, in this case you won't be able to download the picture until you call Koodo and have the data blocked removed.
