I am subscribed to a data plan, I have mobile data enabled, and I have good signal reception, but applications like Chrome cannot access the Internet. Why?

Which phone?
Did you get it from Koodo?
Are you currently connected to wifi?
Prepaid or postpaid?

Check in ss or call tech support to make sure that someone didn't add a data block for some reason. Might sound stupid, but I've seen store reps add data blocks to data plans. Aside from that, try resetting the APN to default and trying a battery/sim card pull. Any troubleshooting beyond that will require a call to tech support anyway since it needs more visibility into the system. They may need to send a trouble ticket to the network team if they can't get it to work.

Problem solved. I had to call Koodo tech support, and they gave me the connection details for the Koodo APN, which for some reason was not on the phone by default.

In case anyone else has this problem, here is a page with the Koodo APN information: http://koodomobile.com/en/ab/non-kood...

Thanks.

What is the tech support number??? I am trying to find it but cannot.. Im pretty sure my problem is the data blocker. If i have to call in for that i know that has got to be at least 1 issue why i cannot connect to my internet i just set up as i made sure i had that blocker put on as i was never gonna get data..Thanks

No. They don't. There are service charges for changes you can make through self serve, but they'll walk you through making even these changes for free.
