Most of todays Androids include sharing of the Wifi Connection. Grab the 6gb plan and you're good to go. Beware though, PC's use a ton of data once connected.

BB users can download an app called tether and get it done that way.

BlackBerry OS 7.1 and later have a built-in Wi-Fi Hotspot. Older BlackBerries tend to support USB tethering, but require a secondary app like the one you mentionned for Wi-Fi hotspot capability.

Purchasing an unlocked USB Dongle will allow you to insert your phone sim card and use the amount of data included in your plan. If you do not want go through all this hassle. Consider Buying a Stick from WIND Mobile. They are a similar Company to Koodo and offer Unlimited Data Plans for reduced rates.

Most of Ontario, plus several cities west of Canada, have the Wind network as of November 18, 2012. They offer plans with pay-per-use, 1 GB, 3 GB and 10 GB. Pay-per-use is prepaid and 20¢ per six minutes. The 1 GB and 3 GB plans are 1¢/MB ($10.24/GB) if you use more than is included. The 10 GB plan has no charge if you go over, but you may experience slower speeds.

The 1 GB plan is good if you want to try WIND. It only costs $5/month on postpaid if you have another postpaid voice or mobile Internet line. Personally, i'm on the 10 GB plan and it gives me good speeds and service.

Koodo has really been disappointing me this year in regards to what they have to offer. Internet-only plans are currently unavailable at Koodo, sadly.

Alex, saying that "most of Ontario" has WIND is very deceiving because there is a lot more uncovered areas than covered areas. Less than 1/4 of Ontario is covered.

Sorry, i should have said "Southern Ontario". Also, i'm talking about population coverage, not geographic coverage. The Golden Horseshoe is there, plus a half dozen cities further from it, as well as Ottawa.
