Unfortunately Koodo no longer carries a Windows Phone.

That being said eBay, Kijiji, letgo and other classified sites would be a great resource to find a well cared for used Windows device.

There are android apps available that read your text messages but none are as good at it as Cortana.

The Microsoft store sells unlocked Windows phones.

Lots of good secondhand deals on used Windows phones due to low demand. I used the Nokia Lumia 830 for over a year since release - one of my all-time favourites and a friend is still using it.

RE: Chad: Cortana is available for Android as well.

Personally, I'd recommend Moto phones. Not sure about the 2016 Moto's (G4 Plus/Play), but my 2015 Moto X Play has an amazing driving mode integrated into the Moto features (haven't been able to find a driving mode nearly as good from any other Android phone manufacturer). I'd recommend it as a good alternative to a Windows phone.

It's nowhere near as good on Android however.
