The qs 5 that you offer doesn't have a removable batterie.which means if a lock up occurs  you may not be able to reboot the phone yourself, and there are a lot of us that have trouble with the on screen key board that would purchase the Blackberry for the physical key board.

I for one will not turn in my old LG flip phone with the key board even though it would be nice to have a more modern Phone

At the moment there is no Q20

As far as the Q5 locking up, pressing and holding both of the volume keys for 10 seconds forces a restart.

I haven't heard anyone complaint of lockups with the Q5. I have a Z30 and a Q5 and haven't had lockup issues.

The Q5 is a pretty great device with a great price here at koodo. Sales of the BlackBerry 10 devices wasn't phenomenal here so I speculate that for the foreseeable future Koodo may only have the Q5. Shame

I think the phone I was looking at was the Z20 maybe. Anyway I really want a physical key board and the Q5 would be a compromise> I've read reviews that it feels cheap, can't change the batteries yourself and both my son's have said to stay away from any thing that you can't access the batteries .

The classic and passport are due out in September and November so uts a waiting game to see what Koodo will do.

I was just reading you can buy a Z10 from tellus for $200.00 and bring it  koodo and use it. Since I think Koodo is owned by Tellus  why the run around, and what about the tab mine is already $40.00 to the positive now. Is there any benefit to doing this?

While I love the Z10 (and have one) the battery life may leave you wanting more. Also that price is for Telus customers. They may not sell it outright to non customers without an activation. That being said you can always grab it on prepaid.

New for 200$ is a great price.

When you bring it to koodo (by inserting your sim into it and doing nothing more) you can continue to accrue tab or you can choose to get 10% off your bill. Your tab will be frozen in case you want to use it later.
