Hi - does anyone know if I will be charged for an incoming call from the USA on a Canada Wide Plan (with unlimited incoming option)? If so, is there a chart somewhere which describes the fees?

Thanks!

Is this true even if I'm in Canada, receiving a call from the USA?

If your phone is in Canada when you receive a call from ANYWHERE, you would only be billed regular airtime unless you have an unlimited airtime feature in you plan :)

No. If you're in Canada and you receive a call from anywhere in the world, you won't be charged. The persone calling will be charged the ammount their provider is charging for this type of call!

I know this was two years ago, however my question is similar. I have a Int'l Long Distance Saver Add on and unlimited Canada-Wide Plan. Will I be changed if someone makes a call to me from Europe?

Hi Kelly. It doesn't matter where the person is calling you from, could be from China or Australia , you will not be charged any additional fees or charges. Same answer still applies :) Its only when you're calling them or you're outside of Canada that you would have to worry

I was just recently charged Long Distance on an incoming call from the USA while traveling out of province within Canada using my Unlimited Canada Wide plan on the Koodo network.  Not sure exactly how this happened or what the glitch is but just wanted to warn anyone else you can be charged for Long Distance on an incoming call.

No,you will not.

If it's glitch, then you should call Koodo to get remove the charge.

How much(what was the LD rate) did you get charged?
Were you close to US and picked US tower?(roaming charge)
Or is it charge for incoming call? - What is your Ebill say?
