from GSMarena here's the networks that phone will work on

Technology
GSM / HSPA / LTE

2G bands GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 - SIM 1 & SIM 2
3G bands HSDPA
4G bands LTE - SIM 1 & SIM 2
Speed HSPA, LTE Cat4 150/50 Mbps
GPRS Yes
EDGE Yes

I don't know off the top of my head what Koodo uses, I'll let someone else fill in that part.

Best chart I've seen to date below. The minute you tippie-toe outside Canada, nobody knows nada about Koodo. Shop for something AT&T (US) compatible if you must buy offshore. Not good return laying down money on a new phone that's already playing with less than a full deck, but if you already have a set, then missing one or two things may be salvageable.

Frequency bands and technology must match. You are missing 850. No mention about 3G or 4G bands in Jru post above.

The phone has just been announced and not all information is available yet. However, it will probably work with Koodo. I'm basing this on the fact that most modern international flagship models come with at least quad-band UMTS radios (some are even penta-band). Your standard quad-band UMTS radio supports 850/900/1900/2100.

Unrelated aside: I don't know why the industry mixes Latin and Greek prefixes. Should be either quad-band/quint-band or tetra-band/penta-band. But that's just me being a pedant.
