Will the Koodo Home Phone support an old rotary dial phone?

I've switched to the Koodo Home Phone and love it.  It works great with my existing cordless phones.

I was telling my neighbour about the Koodo Home Phone.  They're interested in doing the switch from their Bell land line but they have two old rotary dial phones.  They are 1960/70's era phones, so there's no rotary/tone switch.  They're just rotary.   Will those phones work with the Koodo Home Phone service?  My neighbours are nostalgic about keeping them.  Thanks.

No, rotary phones are the only ones that will not work on the home phone service.

Another thought.  Will the rotary phones work (ring) for incoming calls, but just can't dial out on them?

You didn't have to. Tell me Mr. Smartie Pants how you were originally suggesting that I provide you that evidence? If you're so smart, please tell us what kind of evidence you were looking for that does not include names? Please tell us all. L

@Seabass: This is a forum discussion. People have various opinions on things. I asked you a question, if you didn't want to answer, it is fine. You didn't have to say someone "rude". I didn't ask anything about your name, your friends, and your privacy. Also as I said earlier, I stopped my curiosity already. I hope that was clear.

Opinion? What opinion? Is this a new topic now? I don't remember talking about opinions. I remember talking about a rude question, but not an opinion.

Lets stop it there. We are way past the original topic at hand.
In the end, no Koodo doesn't support rotary phones. Unfortunate for those who have them and don't want to switch.

Rotary phones are quite rare these days, Seabass. I don't think Dinh meant any harm through his questioning, and was just genuinely curious as to how many you meant by 'a ton'.
But to answer your question, as Dinh alluded to above, rotary phones do indeed have limited compatibility with newer technology, which is why they don't work with our wireless home phone service.
