The phone and text part will work (probably , depends on local frequencies). But data (other than possibly WiFi ) will not.

Your mileage may vary

There used to be a specific Koodo Cuba & Caribbean roaming plan that was discontinued a few months ago, ¿¿maybe?? due to partnership difficulties. The political sands there are shifting and your roaming package is only as good as the foreign roaming partner.

Other folks on this board have reported that wifi is limited to certain hotels and very expensive.

Throw in a less than top percentile phone, and I would suggest you enjoy the time off.

I've travelled to Cuba multiple times with various phones and all have afforded me the option of calling and texting. I used it to send out precisely two texts each time:

1. Arrived safely.
2. About to board the plane for the return flight.

:)

In any case, yes your phone will work but no data is available for legacy BlackBerry phones.

Bob, Cuba is covered in the "Travelling outside the U.S." option.
