Will my base plan automatically renew after i top off. i don't know why i can't get through on the phone

i bought a 50$ voucher to top off my account and i don't know how to keep my base plan.  does it automatically renew itself or do i have to do something.  i can't get through on the phone at all and my baseplan expires tonight sometime

After 30 days, your base plan expires and will renew as long as you have enough money to cover it in the account.

It is not always automatic. Any ideas why many of us who have account balances have a problem with the auto renewal? My account has more than enough funds, yet my base plan expired. I normally get a notification about the auto renewal but did not get one for this month. I tried adding more funds but that did not trigger the auto renewal of the base plan. Please comment. Thanks.

Here's the explanation I received from one of our official Koodo reps, (11.29.2015).

"From midnight to about 9 AM EST is when our systems process all the payments and plan renewals, and so during this time, Self Serve will show that the account is suspended, but there should actually be no impact to your services".

From my experiences, the temporary suspension usually corrects itself between the hours of 6 AM and 9 AM EST. I don't have an explanation as to why the renewal notification failed. An official Koodo rep may be able to comment further if they see this posting.
