Though many are wishing, Its unlikely. On the other side, Koodo has stepped up and carried a few new release flag ship devices so who knows. It could come. But its not something we have information about before it happens

If the pattern of past Galaxy Note phones is any indication then we could very well see it come to Koodo since they carried the :Note 2 and the Note 4 and skipped the Note 3 and the Note 5. Still like Chad said nobody will know till it happens or at least until August when the phone is announced to the public..

I'm rooting for it two! It's bound to be a great device. Hopefully Koodo decides to carry it again.

Probably not, but it could happen. Be prepared for it to be online-only if it does.

Agree with the others. I'm going to categorize it as a hard maybe.

I was eagerly waiting for Note 5 but Koodo never had it hope Note 7 will be available thru Koodo or I will be moving all 4 line the on the account to some other carrier.

I personally wouldn't move carriers based on who carries what phone,  especially one that charges more monthly, but if that's what you go by, sure. The tab is basically a zero interest loan as it is, so you're going to be paying the same anyways. You generally pay more through the main brands of Telus/Rogers/Bell so I'd stick with Koodo/Fido/Virgin or Wind/Videotron/MTS/Sasktel if they can work for you. Fido and Virgin tend to carry a similar lineup as Koodo, so no guarantees there either.

Choosing a carrier based on phone offerings, especially moving away from an older promo plan will almost always cost you more in the end. Do the math, and then choose what best works for you.

Well, $500 cash upfront + $69/month + $21 tab, you don't have to do your math.

Yes you really do, have to do the math. Most carriers are moving to charigng more upfront for phones. Or they have larger tabs that end up costing you more in the end. You can get the S7 Edge for "only" 400 with Rogers, but you pay 90 a month for 1GB. And you keep paying that once two years is up, vs the 21 going away for Koodo. Or you pay 80 for 1 GB and get less of a subsidy, much like with Koodo right now. For 1GB on regular tab you pay 50/55 depending if you want unlimited minutes or not. Say you do, 55. Plus 15. That's 70. You're saving 14 a month vs Tab Large and more vs Rogers/Telus for a lower upfront cost. Bell is 85. Fido still gives an actual subsidy on its plans. 55 for 1GB nd you get 400 off phones for 5 a month more. Comes to 280 "free." Virgin does not offer any actual subsidy anymore either.

It's a 1000 dollar phone, and the Note 7 will be at least that much if not more. It's not cheap. One way or another you will pay. And Koodo and Fido's models of paying more upfront for less overall comes out to being the best cost.

Goran is absolutely correct and it's the reason I went with koodo in the first place over the others because I would have ended up paying basically twice the price of the phone I wanted just to get it cheaper from Telus or Rogers. Your better off to buy the phone unlocked from a online retailer like expansys.Ca at full price and stay with koodo which is exactly what I did and just put it on a credit card and paid it off in a few chunks since I couldn't afford the full $800 in one shot, so it's something to think about.
Personally I really think that Koodo will carry the Note 7 but it will probably be an online only purchase like a few of Koodo's phones are now and only in one color but I think we will set it.... That could just be extremely hopeful thinking on my part however lol.
