I'm from the west coast of newfoundland, and recently moved to the east coast. If I make or receive phone calls from or to this area or from or to the west coast, will I be charged any fees?

No there are no zones you have to be in. Even on a plan with local calling it's based on where you're located. Do you have a plan with nationwide calling? If so you're good fr anywhere in Canada to any Canadian number.
I have unlimited Canada wide! Thank you so much, you have been a great help! :)

What plan do you have? If your plan is Canada wide plan, then you don't need worry about LD charge as Goran said.

But, If you have a plan with local minutes, check this link under "What’s considered long distance and what’s not?"
Yes I have Canada wide! Thank you, you've been very helpful! :)
