I am in the UK for a week. If i connect to wifi in a cafe or at a friends house will i be charged. My data is off. My phone connects to the wifi automatically. I know you don' get charged for wifi in Canada, only for data usage, but what if you are in the UK? Are there data AND wifi charges?

No! If you can get wifi acess somewhere in the world, it will always be free! But don't forget to close the data off!

As for data, if you use data which means 3G, 4G or LTE, therefore you will pay!

No charges to use wifi at all anytime, just make sure roaming data is desactivated on your phone

Hey Djenneka. The answer has already been answered but I appreciate your enthusiasm. I also noticed this on another thread. There's no need to reply with almost identical answers. Just letting you know:)
