Ok it's probably a iPhone 5 or 5s if it's smaller than the iPhone 6 and 7. It seems to be an issue with he iPhone 5. Are you running the most recent compatible version of IOS on the phone? If not try updating the iOS software.

It could also be the problem with the router that gives WiFi! Because so many devices are connected, it might cause some interference and that will cause it to disconnect! You should set the router to a certain channel and not to auto

even when there is only my device connected to it the same thing happens. i should mention that a month ago i changed my router password (NOT the Wifi password) and ever since then it has been doing that.. except it doesn't do that for anyone else so its still an odd situation.

Have you tried to choose for your phone to forget the router in the wifi settings and then set it all back up again?
Also tried a simple unplug of the router for a minute or so then plug back in so it resets the router? I've had issues with a single phone on our router before and a simple test power down and repower of the router solved the issue so worth a try if you haven't.

Instead of forgetting the single WiFi network, I'd just reset the network settings (settings - general - reset - reset network settings). You'll lose all saved WiFi passwords.

If you can change the DHCP settings on your router, reserve a fixed IP address for your phone, then reset the router then the phone network settings in that order.
