I have a galaxy ace 2. Despite the fact I have my Wi-Fi on at all times, it recently started not connecting to any Wi-Fi within range. I have turned the phone on and off. I have taken the battery out and put back in. Nothing has worked to get my Wi-Fi setting to connect. It just stays on 4G. Can anyone tell me what I can do to fix this.

rikkster made a nice guide on how to enter recovery mode on the Ace II X:

1). Remove battery

2). Install battery

3). Press and hold Home button, press and hold both volume Up/Down buttons, press and hold Power button. Keep holding this button combination until the GT-S7560M logo appears and release the Power button, but continue pressing the Home and volume Up/Down buttons until a green Android robot appears.

4). Let go of the Home and volume Up/Down buttons buttons and you should see the Android System Recovery menu (in blue text).

Use the volume Up/Down buttons to scroll through the menu, use the Power button like an 'enter' key to select the desired operation.

Select "wipe cache partition". Once it's done, select reboot now. This has cleared WiFi issues on an S III before so I'm hoping it will help you too.
