Why is my balance 38.00? Ihave the 20.00 plan

Please explain why my first billing is 38.00. I signed up for a 20.00 plan

Hey Garry, Your first bill is prorated, which means you pay for the part month from the time you signed up to the start of the next billing cycle (so partial month) + the month in advanced (so full month) . This is normal and occurs with every single provider in Canada, it's not something that happens with just Koodo. When you signed up this would have been explained to you while you were signing your service agreement. Don't worry it will be normal next month and will only occur again if you make a plan change to adapt to the plan cost increase or decrease. When making a plan change try to do so a day or two before the end of that billing cycle to keep these proration charges at a minimum. The only other way your bill will be extra than that is if you go over your alloted Airtime and/or data allotments or call outside Canada long distance or travel outside of Canada.

but i got that plan since august 2012 why it was 28.00 last but 38.00 this month

Overages, you probably went over your data or talk monthly allotment or both. Minutes aren't always unlimited on Koodo and data is never unlimited so if you use more then you must pay for it.
