Why does calls that are forwarded having an affect on my included air time?

I had 75 minutes included air time with by Canada wide 30bb plan. Every since I started forwarding my phone to my work cell phone, my included minutes has steadily declined? Sept, 33 min August 33 min, July 23 min etc.? My chargeable time has gone up even though the minutes used is roughly the same as before?
Does having call forward include a usage penalty of some sort?

To my knowledge call forwarding doesn't count toward your minutes but rather you pay per minute for every call forwarded unless you have the $3 Call forwarding add-on. If you have that add-on call forwarding will be unlimited

To my understanding, the $3 call forwarding add on eliminates the pay per use charge but still uses your minutes. You are still receiving calls on the koodo line even if they're being forwarded somewhere else. It wouldn't make sense to effectively give you unlimited incoming calls for $3 when the unlimited incoming calls add on costs $10.

Huh, I was under the impression that because the calls are getting redirected away from the Koodo phone that they wouldn't count toward the minutes. Race you to the help section, Timo.

Frig, ambiguous is right. I'm not finding anything that I would deem 100% confirmation one way or the other.

It says that the $3 add-on provides unlimited call forwarding minutes but nowhere does it confirm if the forwarded calls count toward your airtime minutes.

My understanding on this (we had the topic on here before, months ago), I believe Timo is right on this one... I think Nathan or Myke might have been the one talking... This isn't the topic I was thinking of (was much longer) but Yannick here confirms it uses airtime.

Yeah, the way that the call forwarding minutes are explained in our help files lead me to believe that the airtime was not deducted from the plan & the pay per use charge was removed. I'll submit a request for a better explanation of call forwarding.
